BED AND BREAKFAST FACILITIES AT THEIR FINEST

Dellwood Plantation is a traditional historic plantation property, which was established in 1820. The Manor House, constructed in 1850, is situated on 106 rolling acres in beautiful Southeastern Chesterfield County, Virginia. It is conveniently located off Interstate 95, about 30 miles south of Richmond, Virginia, and is in close proximity to numerous Civil War attractions such as the Richmond National Battlefield, the Petersburg National Battlefield, Pamplin Historical Park, the Museum of the Confederacy and the Petersburg Siege Museum. Dellwood Plantation shares in the rich Civil War heritage of the Commonwealth of Virginia, having been used during the conflict between the states as a meeting place to plan war strategy by Confederate Generals and a field hospital for wounded soldiers.

The Dellwood Plantation Manor House has been meticulously restored to its original grandeur and is listed on the Chesterfield County Registry of Historic Landmarks. This magnificent architecture gem is now offered to the public as a country bed and breakfast and special event facility. Come and stroll through acres of formal gardens; sip a mint julep on the veranda and watch the magnolias grow; sun bathe and enjoy the pool; or relax in the Manor House and experience the ambiance of a bygone era when the Southern hospitality reigned supreme.

ROOM RATES IN THE MANOR HOUSE START AT $109.00 PER NIGHT PLUS APPLICABLE STATE AND LOCAL TAXES. ALL ROOM RATES ARE FOR DOUBLE OCCUPANCY AND INCLUDES A CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST.

Dellwood Plantation is open 12 months per year. Rooms are available on a reservation only basis and must be guaranteed by advance payment of a one night minimum deposit. Dellwood Plantation does not make its rooms available to the general public when the facility is booked for a special event. Payment by cash or personal check is accepted.   • Wedding consultant service. Dellwood staff will coordinate all aspects of wedding and reception to the extent desired by client.
  • Dellwood staff to greet guests, handle wedding presents, monitor powder rooms, interpret site and answer questions.
  • One hour rehearsal prior to wedding day if ceremony and reception are held at Dellwood Plantation. By appointment only.
  • Catering services provided by Dellwood Plantation..

**Additional time may be arranged in advance at an additional per hour charge.
* Manor House use available at additional fee.
**Additional fees may apply to subsequent
consultant sessions after inital tour and event booking of Dellwood Plantation.

Reception Includes

  • Rental of Dellwood Plantation Manor House for three hours.** 
  • Parking
  • Bride and Groom changing rooms.
  • Fresh cut flower arrangements from the Dellwood Gardens (subject to seasonal availability).
  • Wedding consultant service. Dellwood staff will coordinate all aspects of reception to the extent desired by client.
  • Additional thirty minutes prior to start of event.
  • Dellwood staff to greet guests, handle wedding gifts, monitor powder rooms, interpret site and answer questions.
  • Varied priced menus available upon request.**
