Real Wedding: Lindsey & Cory

This sweet couple truly got the best weather that Virginia has to offer! The skies were blue with wispy clouds, and the sun set behind the blooming flowers, green grass, and romantic lighting throughout the gardens. Dellwood was the perfect backdrop for the elegant yet rustic decorations, accompanied by gorgeous bouquets and cowboy boots. This is one of our favorite weddings to reminisce on!

Real Weddings: Katie and Robby

September is a beautiful time for a wedding and that couldn't be more true than the gorgeous day Katie and Robby had here at Dellwood during Labor Day weekend at the beginning of the month. The sun was shining and there was nothing but blue sky for miles which went perfectly with Katie and Robby's sunflower and blue wedding.

We were especially excited to share these photos with you as Katie and Robby set up their ceremony site in front of our barn. Call us biased, but we happen to think that the barn looked amazing as the backdrop for these two as they said their vows and became husband and wife. June is a beautiful time at Dellwood Plantation! And this June, we were able to witness the beautiful union of Lauren and Lance. The sun was shining, the sky was the most beautiful shade of blue, the flowers were in bloom and the grass was oh so green. As you can clearly see from the photos, the two of them are so in love.

Teresa and Michael had a beautiful wedding at Dellwood in May. Spring weddings are at such a wonderful time in Virginia - the grass is fresh spring green, the trees are in bloom and the weather is always wonderful. Teresa and Michael had a wonderful intimate wedding that utilized our outdoor ceremony space with the reception inside and outside the manor house. It was a wonderful day filled with family, sunshine and laughter.
